Enerbio

Turning agricultural waste into clean energy

Enerbio, situated in Italy and commissioned in 2012, stands as a remarkable example of sustainable energy production through the conversion of agricultural waste into electricity. The plant uses a wide range of organic materials as feedstocks for its energy generation process. These include whey, cattle manure, and maize silage, all of which are efficiently utilized to produce clean electricity. Enerbio uses Combined Heat and Power (CHP) technology, and its success story is facilitated by the expertise of Anaergia, who handle the EPC aspects of the project. The facility boasts a power generation capacity of 999 kW. Enerbio is a shining example of harnessing agricultural waste to generate clean electricity. Its sustainable practices and innovative use of resources demonstrate a commitment to a greener, more energy-efficient future.
