Omnivore™ is Anaergia’s advanced digestion solution designed to transform underperforming digesters into high-solids, high-efficiency systems. By integrating robust mixing and thickening technologies, Omnivore™ increases solids concentration from 2–3% to 5–8%, significantly boosting biogas output and reducing capital and operational costs. The system enables co-digestion, enhances process control, and fits within a compact footprint — making it ideal for both retrofits and new builds.

Omnivore™ Features
Omnivore™
A high solids approach to digestion
which incorporates Anaergia’s advanced mixing and
robust thickening systems to turn a low-solids digester
(2 to 3%) into a high-solids digester (5 to 8%)
Co-Digestion Made Easy
Omnivore™ enables co-digestion of local organic waste streams, generating
additional revenue and making plants energy positive
Improved Performance
Omnivore™ offers
operational control and flexibility. Easy maintenance is supported by adjustable mixer positioning to break up floating layers and re-suspend grit, along with service access that does not require taking the digester out of operation.
Technical Specifications
Anaergia’s Omnivore™ system delivers high-solids digestion with improved efficiency, operational flexibility, and cost savings. Built for both retrofit and new installations, the system is adaptable to various tank configurations and organic waste streams.

Reference Facilities
Enerbio, situated in Italy and commissioned in 2012, stands as a remarkable example of sustainable energy production through the conversion of agricultural waste into electricity. The plant uses a wide range of organic materials as feedstocks for its energy generation process.
South San Francisco-San Bruno Water Quality Control Plant (WQCP) is a nine million gallon per day (MGD) facility that serves 100,000 people in California’s Bay Area.
Ambiente & Risorse plant in Broni, italy has the capacity to treat up to 40,000 metric tons of source separated organics a year and convert it into about 3,900,000 cubic meters of renewable natural gas (biomethane).
