Mission: 

Responsible for supporting company’s finance and accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and effectiveness in all the accounting tasks

Goals:

Support the finance and accounting manager with internal reporting, budgeting, corporate books, corporate obligations, cashflow management and preparing financial statements.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Responsibilities for Deputy Finance and Accounting Manager includes supporting the Manager on tasks as listed below –

• Internal reporting, budgeting and forecasting process insuring timely and accurate collection and control of the needed information
• Corporate books and corporate obligations
• Cash flow management supervising and promoting collection activities
• Statutory financial statements preparation process working with both statutory auditors and external auditors
• Identify and resolve any issues that arise with accounting processes both transactional and reporting
• Analyse new business transactions in order to identify potential risks in relation to indirect and direct taxation
• Personnel management interacting with the payroll consultant
• Support in local implementation of the new global ERP – Microsoft Dynamics 365

 Knowledge and Requirements:

• Qualified Accountant with a diploma or a degree in accounting (or equivalent qualification)
• Expert understanding of MS Office tools specifically advanced Excel
• 5+ Years of:
  • Knowledge and experience in both local GAAP and IFRS
  • Knowledge and experience in EU taxes
  • Experience in Financial Reporting and Management Reporting for a publicly traded company
  • Experience in Project Accounting and in a Project based business
  • Experience in Public tender
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics/D365 preferred
• Knowledge of the English language is mandatory
• Knowledge of the Italian language is mandatory
• Ability to execute and follow-through to produce complete, accurate and timely deliverables
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions and changing priorities
• Must be able to work independently, think critically and apply consistent standards in work with frequent changes in company requirements
