Anaergia provides alternatives to the traditional waste to energy solutions. Anaergia is able to convert the biogenic portion of waste into renewable natural gas for distribution in the local grid or for fleet vehicle fuel.
Anaergia can use the biogenic portion of waste to generate a renewable natural gas called biomethane that is over 98% methane. The high purity gas can be sold into the local gas distribution grid or further upgraded into renewable Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) to fuel vehicles. These solutions can provide substantial long term costs savings and greenhouse gas reductions over fossil-based pipeline gas, diesel and natural gas fuels.
Construction underway at new facility in Yabu City, Japan, that will use Anaergia’s technology and equipment to convert both farm waste and food waste into renewable energy

"We're very fortunate to have the ability to turn that waste into energy and reduce the costs to our ratepayers long into the future..."
