Goa has launched its first biogas bus as a pilot project ahead of next February’s planned introduction of 40 such Scania buses. The pilot including the biogas bus and two ethanol buses was launched on Independence Day and will be operated by state-run Kadamba Transport Corporation Limited. The biogas will be supplied by the facility in Saligao.
