Juan Josse is the Chief Engineer for the Anaergia. Mr. Josse has more than 20 years of engineering experience in municipal and industrial wastewater treatment, anaerobic digestion and biogas. His expertise includes nutrient removal, anaerobic treatment, solids separation, biogas handling, and power generation. He holds several U.S. and international patents on innovative processes associated with anaerobic digestion, municipal wastewater treatment, and nutrient recovery.
Mr. Josse joined Anaergia in 2010; previous engineering experience includes a nine-year tenure as a Senior Project Manager and Professional Associate with HDR Engineering Inc. and five years as Research Engineer at the University of New Orleans Urban Waste Management and Research Center.
Mr. Josse has managed several engineering projects associated with municipal and industrial wastewater treatment, anaerobic digestion, biogas handling and power generation.
He holds a Master of Science Degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of New Orleans. He has published in numerous wastewater engineering and biogas journals, and received the 2010 Grand Conceptor Award from the American Council of Engineering Companies for the Gills Onions Waste to Energy Project in Oxnard, California.
